KICK-OFF OF THE FIRST GRANTS OF THE "DIGITAL KIT"

The First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs Nadia Calviño yesterday described as "spectacular" the reaction of the 45,000 companies interested in the first call for Kit Digital grants managed by Red.es within the framework of the Government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which have an initial budget of around 500 million euros. In addition, 5,200 digitalizing agents have been registered out of the more than 9,000 applications submitted.

At DLQ, we have been accompanying our client companies since March 15, helping them to apply for the digitalization grants by acting as Voluntary Representatives and advising them to facilitate the implementation of the most appropriate free digital solutions according to their degree of digitalization and their activity. Since March 15, the opening date of registration for companies with between 49 and 10 employees, we have been working hard with our clients, providing them with our know-how and our agility of response, qualities of a gazelle company, one with a capacity to grow exponentially in a short period of time.

In DLQ, we have in this initial phase with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of 10 people that will grow little by little, and with a capacity for growth that we hope will increase as we progress with our activity of digitization of SMEs. But, we are not only able to be a gazelle company to bring digital transformation to our Spanish SMEs, but we also consider the importance of other complementary factors to this digitization as training programs in digital skills for SMEs oriented to both employers and workers.

To complement the Digital Kit grants and carry out a complete digital transformation of the economy, it is true that we must start with the digitization of SMEs, but we must also consider the importance of trained human capital to be able to absorb business changes to a greater extent and thus contribute more easily to a more digital and socially and environmentally sustainable economy and society. It is part of the purpose of the DLQ team to help small businesses to address the irreversible process of digitization and support them in their process of continuous improvement in the current uncertain environments.
