Three steps to create a corporate learning culture that brings innovation.

Three steps to create a corporate learning culture that delivers innovation

To create technological solutions for major challenges, companies must foster cultures that support continuous learning and team optimism.

Today, we live in a globalized and interconnected world where information and communication technologies (ICTs) provide answers to our daily challenges or activities. Qualified people such as engineers, business leaders or scientists are everywhere looking to create these technological solutions to respond to these challenges as quickly as possible, but it is not really enough. We need more than expertise, determination and effort. We need to foster a culture that supports continuous learning and daily experience.

At DLQ, although we consider our multidisciplinary work team, whose skills are essential, to be important, we have a business philosophy that encompasses 3 aspects necessary to be able to work as a team and stand out from the rest: we put ego aside, build long-term optimism and celebrate small successes along the way:

We let go of ego

We must be humble, put aside the sense of self-esteem and try to help colleagues to collaborate all together through synergies in any initiative because, together we are stronger.

Therefore, it is necessary that business leaders take the initiative from the top to instill this philosophy in the company by holding regular team meetings, talking about problems to be solved and failures to create a real connection with the team and help and encourage each other to face challenges and new ideas together every day.

Long-term optimism

It is important to be optimistic and keep the team's spirits up. The DLQ team tends to emphasize that setbacks are only temporary; that when things go wrong, it is due to external forces, not the fault of people trying their best; and that failure in one area does not make failure in other areas more likely.

But this is all thanks to our CEO, who, through his leadership approach, encourages the entire workforce to adopt this perspective. While it is true that a certain degree of pessimism does not come amiss as it helps people to make their predictions and expectations more realistic. It is important to wake up every morning with a smile, and to be grateful for all that is to come.

We celebrate small successes along the way

To maintain a culture of learning, at DLQ we recognize what is known as the principle of progress, i.e. that every time something new is discovered it is an important step forward because the more people experience a sense of progress, the more productive they are. In our company, we celebrate and share incremental advances with our colleagues because, at the end of the day, this reflects greater satisfaction and self-esteem for everyone and therefore influences productivity, with the consequent delivery of value to our customers. And all thanks to possessing values that forge a corporate culture of continuous learning and optimism that gives way to innovation.
